Val Smith

A family Mother's Day art class gift, more than 15 years ago, set Val on her artistic journey. Initially working in watercolour, and receiving tutorage from several prominent Limestone Coast artists, Val has experimented widely and is equally comfortable using acrylics.

With several group and solo exhibitions to her name, Val draws her inspiration from the world around her and is greatly influenced by nature. From delicate and nuanced florals to complex and detailed landscapes. Val paints her world with dedication and enthusiasm and is always inspired to learn more.
